We're seeking best in class for mobile app quality

07/05/2016

We're celebrating mobile app quality by rewarding developers and organisations for best in class. Entries to be submitted by September 15, 2016.

Here at AQuA, we've launched a contest that recognizes developers and organizations for their outstanding contributions to mobile app quality with two awards:

Award 1 - The Best Quality App
Award 2 - The Best Contribution to Mobile App Quality

With the Best Quality App Award, we are looking for the “best quality app” out there: an app that works well on the device, every time.

Apps will need to prove their level of quality and the shortlist will be judged by AQuA Members and global players in the mobile app industry: AT&T Application Resource Optimizer (part of the AT&T Developer Program, USA), China Mobile, CTTi (Cyber Trust Technology Institute of Taiwan), CTTL SmarterApps ( specialist in app and smart device testing ,China), DMI (a global leader in mobile business innovation) , The Mobile Manufacturers Forum (MMF), VMC (the global production support services company) and University College London.

“We have worked with some of the best organisations in the mobile industry to promote and achieve mobile app quality and now is the time to celebrate it. The AQuA Quality Awards will be presented purely on merit. No entrance fee, no sponsorship, just great apps. We look forward to the industry responding to the challenge” Martin Wrigley, Executive Director from AQuA.

For the Best Contribution to Mobile App Quality Award, we will be presenting this to an organisation that can demonstrate outstanding commitment to app quality in the mobile industry. The winner of the award will be voted for by the global AQuA community.

Prizes for the awards include AQuA Endorsed Membership (worth up to $5500), global recognition of the winning app or organisation in the press and ongoing promotion via AQuA and the Best Quality App judges.
